Atma Jayam is a slow and gentle Hatha flow marked by specific anatomical cues and long holds of the pose, or asana. We will move graciously using 4-5 breaths per asana. We will also explore core strengthening inspired from Forrest Yoga. A special treat, there will be live flute music during pranayama and svasana.
Jonathan has been on a yogic path since 1998 and became a certified teacher in 2004. Jonathan also began making and playing bamboo flutes for yoga classes and ceremonies in 2004. Some of the teachers and projects that Wolf has worked with include, traveling with Saul David Raye, playing his berimbau with Shiva Rae, and DVD projects with Annie Carpenter and Janet Stone.
In addition to yoga, flutes and music Jonathan is also a certified bodyworker, specializing in Shiatsu Anma, Thai, and Deep Tissue. In 2007 he began to study and play Capoeira Angola in Hawaii with a group called FICA. Utilizing all the knowledge of the body he acquired through yogic experience, he began to apply this, to all the new movement of Capoeira. Jonathan then started teaching a yoga capo fusion, that he now offers around the USA and abroad in Mexico, Belize and Costa Rica.
