Bhairavi Devi leads an active and balanced practice to encourage the circulation of energy through the body and heart centre. Tahir offers LIVE improvised Indian Raaga music to support the practice. This ancient system of music is used to express deep sentiment and devotion. With the alchemy of sound we touch deeper places of stillness and explore the potential for healing and transformation.
Bhairavi Devi has been exploring the tradition of yoga for over a decade, studying in India, Australia and the U.S. She also studies Indian music with Tahir Qawwal and is especially inspired by the integration of sacred music within a yoga practice. Bhairavi hopes to instill yoga as a meaningful spiritual practice and a path of self-inquiry. She is a registered teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance, having trained with INSPYA (Integrated South Pacific Yoga Academy) .
